Assistant Extension Professor Minnesota Sea Grant Program

Celebrate Sami National Day with this informative program about Laponia
in northern Sweden, named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996. The 3,600 square mile area contains 4 national parks and 2 nature reserves and is home to Indigenous Sami reindeer herders. Tom Beery has studied in the area for many years and is a specialist on the cultural landscape of Laponia.
