Báiki Special Edition #2

The Sami Cultural Center and Báiki: the International Sami Journal is pleased to announce the publication of Special Issue #2 – Celebrating 30 Years of Báiki and Sami Community Writers. The issue contains contributions from writers all over North America and special work from Sápmi. In 2020 a call was put out asking writers to submit a piece for possible inclusion in Báiki Special Issue #2. Two topics were suggested as subjects:  What Báiki means to you or its influence on your life or Sami identity and My Travels (real or imagined) to Sápmi. A number of the submissions were accompanied by photos or art work that are also included and add a visual richness to the issue. Copies of the issue are available by ordering from the Sami Cultural Center. Just use the PDF order form provided. Also there is a special form for ordering both Special Issue #1 and #2 for a reduced price. Questions? email samicenterna@gmail.com.
