Student Movie Premier of the film Obbasa Ain Gállit ~ We Continue

Kathryn A. Martin Library at University of Minnesota Duluth and the Sami Cultural Center sponsored a special Student Movie Premier of the film Obbasa Ain Gállit ~ We Continue on Sunday, April 26. Students from the student run non-profit Extending the Link of the College of St. Benedict and St. John’s University did research and filming in the U.S. (including at the Sami Cultural Center) before traveling to Sápmi to film there. The film is an excellent look at issues facing contemporary Sami and viewing was followed by a panel discussion.
